Virus Entry 6

The virus took a step closer to us today. My cousin Kathryn is recovering and my dear freind Emily has it in her house - although it seems she , herself doesn’t have it. Her housemate, a nurse, has had a really bad time. Still bad I understand but Em is ok.

Tonight was the first 8pm applause for NHS staff. Genuinely very proud of them and this huge effort and sacrifice they are doing. There is huge support for them.

Had a lovely walk with just me and Debbie in the sunshine. Waved at Lloydee - he was at his decks of course. Then down past Broadwell, our old house. Out past the old folks near listers then up towards the peak but then across a slightly muddy field back to behind the hospital.

USA is now the country with the most cases. It’s scary what that place must be like now. I heard that musicians at the MET opera have been laid off. Just like that! I am so lucky here with my position.

Had a chat with Roger. I’m going to watch him do a warm up session for RWCMD in the morning.
