Virus entry 15

In south Africa the health workers take a taxi to work. That is a 10 seater minibus that I’ve been in. A taxi is a private service - usually unlicensed- that speeds along collecting as many as possible (low working profit) all day. It’s so unbelievably cramped and over crowded and there are literally millions of them. How are people supposed to travel anywhere. Leading to the question - if they can’t separate they will either get/spread the virus or don’t go anywhere. Meaning no health workers. It’s an impossible situation.

This is what has been worrying me for a while now. I had a brilliant zoom with Adam today. Many many positives but also a confirmation of the above. It’s a worry.

Rise in numbers set new records in Uk today. 7 health workers have died of Covid - 19 so far.

Music centre today. All ok but a worrying lack of numbers. I will have to do a ring around and make sure all ok. Ed joined us which raised my spirits no end! He is so lovely and rather brilliant. I smiled for ages. Easy to do with zoom (another first)

Brilliant chat with Adam. So positive. I’m really looking forward to next time I see then both.
